A 31-Year Tradition on Jeju's East Coast
Now in its 31st year, the Pyoseon Beach White Sand Festival is one of Jeju's longest-running summer celebrations. Held on Pyoseon Beach — famous for its unusual tidal pattern that turns the shoreline into a shallow, lake-like pool at high tide — this two-day event combines beach games, live performances, and a drone light show over the water.

Bonus Events
Free tasting sessions for grilled hairtail (courtesy of Seongsan Fisheries Cooperative) and Korean black pork run alongside the main program — a nice way to sample local seafood while you watch the shows.
Facilities
Showers, restrooms, first aid, a convenience stand, and parking are all available on-site, making this an easy festival to bring kids to for a full day of beach play.
Good to Know
The drone light show is the highlight — don't miss the 8:45 PM slot on Saturday.
Programs may change due to weather (rain or extreme heat), so check on the day.
