July 3–4: Samyang Black Sand Festival

Location: Samyang Black Sand Beach, Jeju City

Running since 2002, this is Samyang's signature summer festival, centered on one of Jeju's rarest natural features — a stretch of fine black sand long believed to help with neuralgia and arthritis when used for sand therapy. Cool off afterward in the beach's natural spring water, just like locals have for generations.

July 3–5: Gangjeong Village Ecological Festival

Location: Gangjeong Stream area, Seogwipo

A nature-and-community festival built around Gangjeong's year-round flowing stream — sweetfish catching, valley trekking, zip-lining, stream snorkeling, camping, and a sunset walking event. In the evenings, catch an outdoor film screening or a stargazing session on the grass. Works well as a day trip or an overnight camping getaway.

July 3 – August 30: Ecoland Cool Summer Water Train Season 3

Location: Ecoland Theme Park, departing from Lakeside Station (closed Mondays)

A forest-train ride through Gotjawal woodland turned into a full-on water fight, now with international performers leading the water battle. Expect a water slide zone at Forest Park Station, Cool Summer Circus and K-pop shows, and hydrangea/buckwheat flower fields in bloom at Lavender Farm Station.

July 4, 2026 – January 3, 2027: One Piece "The Great Era of Piracy" Asia Tour

Location: Jeju Water World (near Jeju World Cup Stadium, Seogwipo)

After stops in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and China, this immersive exhibition finally lands in Jeju — inside the world's first water-media theme park. Walk through flowing water spaces recreating iconic One Piece scenes with light, sound, and real water effects. The fan-favorite "Egghead" zone returns, and Jeju gets an exclusive addition: a brand-new "Elbaf" arc zone.

July 18 (Sat), 5 PM: Leellow x Woody Gochild Summer Hip-Hop Festa

Location: Seolmundae Women's Culture Center, 4th floor performance hall

A free concert bringing together Leellow, one of Korea's leading hip-hop artists (Show Me the Money 9 winner), and Woody Gochild, known for his distinctive tone and high-energy stage presence. A special stage from artist AIAI rounds out the lineup. A cool way to spend a hot summer night.

July 21, 23, 29, 31: Outdoor Escape Game "Tamtampan-nori: Wake the Sleeping Guardian"

Location: Seongeup Folk Village, South Gate, 10 AM–12 PM

Step into Joseon-era Jeju at Seongeup Folk Village for a two-hour, Jeju-dialect escape-room experience. Decode local dialect clues and solve missions as a team — built for solo travelers, couples, and friend groups alike (adults only).

July 24 – August 30: Ecoland Zombie Train

Location: Ecoland Theme Park (Friday–Sunday only until the full opening)
