Angella helped us coordinate a private meeting with two Haenyeo. She translated for us and helped everything go smoothly. It was such a great experience and really meant a lot to our family. 10/10 recommend! We are from the US, but currently live in South Korea. I recently read “Island of the Sea Women” and after learning so much about the history and culture of Jeju and Haenyeo I really wanted to focus on experiences during our visit that helped us continue learning and see Jeju for what it was and what it is today.
